Gantt Lite - for Microsoft Office, Project ( XML / MPP files ) App Reviews

Still waiting for a developer to create a good MSP app. Need a better way to import or open files. Similar to goodreader would be useful.

Guys, Remove the file conversion step and youll have the best Ms Project viewer out there. The XML file is heavier and bigger then Mpp file which is native file of Ms Project. Fix that problem, not only i will give the app 5 stars, I will buy it. That problem forces me to buy Projects ad lib for $18 even though I think it is a rip off.

I think its a bit ridiculous to have to bother with the "save as XML" step before you can use this app. People email project files not XML. What good is this app?

It crashes after I try to open second or third plan. Otherwise - nice app!

Displays MS project files on iPad - so you can have your plan everywhere. After several bug fixes supports Russian fonts. Does not allow edit plans, just view. Nice to have if you need to check mpps on the road.

Just downloaded app and cant even extract file from email or g-drive. The app crashes every time I try to open it. Useless.

Wont open a file from email. Sent developer an email and didnt get any response back.

The app does not load any of my XML files exported from Project 2003. It recognizes that they SHOULD be able to open with the Gantt app, but upon selecting Open with Gantt Lite... I get nothing but the built in sample project every time. If the intent is to show the end user what SHOULD happen, but that they need to buy the full app to gain this functionality, the point is not salient in the iTunes entry for Gantt Lite.

The tool is awesome...works well for my facilities maintenance plans. Love the Bird eye view...I had to use pro app to use this feature on my plans. Thumbs up!!! Recommend incorporating dropbox integration.

It crashed right after it tried to login to drop box. Hope they did not steal my credentials !

Also, to be clear, this application allows viewing only. No editing.

I think that says it all.

I could not get it to work with Mail or Dropbox.

So far I can only figure out how to bring in an existing XML file. No way to start a new file in the app.

Theres lite and then theres ultra light and of absolutely no use; this app is the just plain silly.

Would be great if it worked. Loads home screen.. nothing works. Fail more

Works for loading MS Project plans that I need to view while on the road. It easily loaded the XML file without any problems from an email attachment.

I ha e an iPad 1st gen. This app provides no functionality at all. It opens to a browser that appears to be an image. You cannot select anything. If this is a bug it needs to be addressed immediately. If this is a trial version meant to encourage a purchase, it is a MAJOR FAIL!!

Worked once to view a MS project schedule I imported. Never worked again. Will certainly not pay for this.
